This week Minecraft comes to the Xbox 360! And it just got a 4/5 in TECHDiGEST saying 'Capturing much of what made the PC original so compelling, Minecraft Xbox 360 version is a must have for those who've yet to have the pleasure of playing the game on a computer. While the PC version remains superior, this latest console version has some clever additions of its own, not least of all the streamlined multiplayer options. PC gamers can give this version a miss, but gamers who play exclusively on consoles should have Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition on the top of their wish-lists.'

Epic but it cost round about 1600 MSP. Yeah it's a high price.

Thsts alright im surprised it dont cost 2100 due to its big fame.

It's a great game once you get the hang of crafting weapons and armour and buliding a house the way you want it to be.

Added Ender Chest.
Added Emerald.
Added Emerald Ore.
Added [u]Villager Trading.
Made Buckets Stackable.
Added snow to Creative Inventory.
NPC Villages change style according to their biome.
Stars are more realistic.
Changed Gravel texture to less noisy one.
Improved Options menu.
Added Pyramids.
Added a second Golden Apple made with Block of Gold.
After being consumed, Player receives 30 second Regeneration IV, Resistance and Fire Resistance for 5 minutes.
Added Sandstone Stairs

Bug Fixes:

Removed Server Jar dependency in Single Player.

Notable bugs (Complete bug list):

Emerald Ore has the wrong texture.
Loading a world from a previous version corrupts it.
Generated structures are very buggy.
New Golden Apple does not appear in the creative mode inventory screen.
Villager Trading with more than 1 emerald, won't show the item, if you place the emeralds 1 to 1
When removing the last Ender Chest, no items are ejected, and you must place a new one to retrieve the items. (may not be a bug)
When a Desert Village spawns stone half slabs spawn on the forge instead of sandstone slabs
Single player still thinks it requires server/minecraft_server.jar. A blank file with the same name can be used.

lol, I just play the PC version

so far I was able to create a ram module of 8bytes (which is huge) and it's used for things like the 3D printer I have which I have yet to learn how to use it. I found it online as a schematic for MCEdit so I imported it into a map and I saw how big that was it was 64Bytes

Dear god man! If only I had the PC version.

One mod I would like to see is the height restriction removed. I know this has been done before but building over it would be cool. Or have there done it yet?

With 1.2.5 (PC release) they still have a height restriction but it's very high. I would like to know myself if there is a mod.

EDIT: I found a mod, it only raises it to 512 and the default now is 256 which is a good thing.

That sounds pretty good. I just like the ideal of having a big tower for people to look outside around my world. I know that Notch said that the height restriction where there because if you fell down, you would fall through the world you made.

There is a mod called PortalCraft and the portal 2 portion has some falling boots so you can fall without taking damage

Oh yeah I've seen that before on a video.
